20 march 2010 Resort World Sentosa

Saturday morning tgt with weijun went to alexandra ikea for breakfast. and it started to rain when we came out of ikea. we were initially heading to Botanic garden to play with out cameras. unfortunately it rainned and this was his idea. RWS. first time going there was quite excited. but the damn thing is we wore (botanic garden outfit) but Who Cares?

18 march 2010 punggol beach

early in the morning 530am woke up. drove(with eyes half open and rubbing my eyes) and parked outside tanjunhao's house.
sat in his car and went to punggol beach and his brother came along.
reached punggol beach at 640am. tjh checked that the sun will rise at 710am.
our purpose was to take sunrise .

the sad thing is that morning had too much clouds blocking and we only manage to take shots of the beach.

after that we drove to a land near to the beach. after alighting, we had to walk a incredibly long distance and the weather is really hot. but it's worth it as that place is still detached from the public and it is naturally beautiful(although beside the land there are some new hdb under-construction). Punggol is going to have lots of HDB. construction everywhere.

Canon EOS 500D

i have finally bought my DSLR. canon EOS 500D.
love it.. superb.
now i understand... the difference between digital cam and DSLR.
they always say, when u use canon dslr. u will not use any other digital camera anymore.

these are the first few photos i took. (i have reduced the picture size because i have problem uploading the original size) result of DSLR is even better than wat our eyes can see in actual real life.
these are shots taken around 3am actual scene was very dark at that moment. (look at the details of cloud, rooftop, ground)

2am total darkness yet the this camera can capture everything. can even see the clouds which we couldn't in actual fact.
although my heart is still aching over the cost of this camera, i must say i love it very much!
