Actually it's my 3rd time to taiwan. My impression on taiwan doesn't change. My 1st time was in 2006 with family by tour agency, 2nd time in 2007 with s and wl, and now s, jh, wj.

People are nice, polite, friend. The graciousness in their roots, its passionate nature. And the fabulous food, it's just right for my taste buds, further more for its price. The fact that i thought since years ago, guys are relatively handsome, girls are generally pretty, we got to admit it.

im in tantockseng now。 hospitalised because of my opeeeration. im blogging using my phone.

wat i can say is.

生命是如此的脆弱

i cant remember anything the moment i inhaled the general anesthetic。 totally。

what i can remember was only that few seconds when im being push into the operation theatre, and the surgeon said "breathe deep and slow" and the next moment i woke up was already hours later and im alr in the observation ward. And the nurses were slapping my face calling my name untill i start to know where i am.

life is too fragile。 i have difficulty breathing once i gain conscious from the operaation。 im lying on bed yet every breath i take is so painful。i have to breathe very lightly。

i fall asleep easily in the hospital.

2 weeks mc. resting at home now still feeling pain when i breathe.

It was a rather rush planning for my 21st. Cause all the guys are in NS. We didnt have much time for the preparation, and of cause i didnt invite my relatives and NS friends not because i neglect them but it's really difficult for me to entertain everyone if i invited all of them. And i will feel bad if that really happen. So, it was a simple bbq gathering inviting only my close friends at my house on the saturday.

My actual birthday falls on a normal wednesday and most of my friends are in NS. Lucky enough, my good friends are all in 8-5 jobs as a NSF.

Tuesday late night, Mitch asked me out to meet him n Ian at holland v. I was so surprised when Inez accompanied Mitch, tgt with Bryan n Ian there when i reached. And they initiated to buy a cake from NYDC and it's so expensive. So touched! And we went haagen dazs for ice cream, and cut the cake at twelve. Officially 21! Thanks Inez for bringing her dslr and poloroid cams for those nice photos.

HAHAHA. Last week i quitted my vocation in my NS. Some may think why im able to quit from my job serving for NS, thats becos im selected after my BMT n SCS into this vocation that requires me to fly in the helicopter with the pilots, doing high risk job, securing myself down from the helicopter to rescue casulty and bring them up to the aircraft. Just like what you see in the news. A very very rare job for NSF. It's too individual, on ground it's too heavy responsibilty. So my life inside wasn't happy at all with their demands expected from me, so i requested to change vocation, though the boss didnt encourage and wish me to leave. Afterall, it's been months to train a guy like me clearing the high standards of aero medical standards, swimming test etc, and wasted so much of their resources. So its not the same like in the army whereby you cannot choose whether to chiong the forest with one whole group of mates.
But who cares, im a NSF. 11months served, 11months more.
Being in this vocation has its good and bad factors. Good becos everyday we are able to go home in the evening and report back to base in the morning.
Currently im waiting for the new posting of the vocation, everyday enjoying doing nothing in sembawang airbase. Im seriously happy now after i quitted this stressful job. However, im quite afraid if im posted back to those tough vocations. My current rank is still Sergeant Cadet Trainee. Let's wait and see!

on the 9th sept, weiliang, shaun n anna came to the airport and fetch me. So delighted, and saw them with this welcome board at the departure gate waiting for me. The people around them with wide smiles on their faces, saw a caucasian laughing happily. went to whampoa keng fish head restaraunt for a great dinner treat after we left airport. cereal prawns, fried tofu, fish head steamboat etc.. didnt take any photos for that though. after dinner, we immediately sped home since they know i miss home so much...

10th sept 2011 saturday, went over to bedok north area. at this hdb blk there's this thailand cuisine shophouse that S introduced us. Not bad for the food. did take picture as well. :( always not convenient with non-camera phone. Ard 11pm went back to chevron for singing session which we booked earlier that day. went home late, had a great time. me,wj,jh,wl,s.

170911 Saturday, wj,jh,wl and myself. bugis steamboat (not very nice restaraunt!) and decided to go for shesha after dinner. then back to bugis Mac for late supper. No photos taken though.

there's no physical demanding, it's all mental challenge for the flights.
get efff in the aircraft, using being 'chopped'(kick out of vocation) as a threat if fails to perform well.
and it's a challenge in emotional intelligence
it's different from army.

oh my and it's 619am now. cant get into sleep when i woke up ard 3am.
have to start the shits again later on 745am.
4 more days!
so much of the mental shits by those useless people.

ok and so im back on the 9th!
Finally. The feeling is so awesome once i landed in changi airport.

17-28 june 2011 brunei jungle survival course

In a few more hours time, i will be at paya lebar airbase flying to Brunei.

It will be C130 military flight. Yeh positive thinking is not many people get to experience this aircraft, and six of us do. 3hours flight to Brunei, 1hour slower than commercial flights.

17th -28th will be in Brunei for this Jungle Orientation Training. Reason why even though im alr posted to airforce yet there's jungle survival course is to ensure we are able to survive alone just in case the helicopter we fly in explodes and get cast away. In the jungle, finding food, building A-frames (shelters using logs), fireplace, monitor lizard traps. First few days will be trainings in Brunei camp, and later 4days 3nights in the jungle for this course.

Alright, it will be shit.

30th april, 85th aircrew specialists. Winson, Me, Yongboon, Dexter, TienBeng, Xavier
six of us went to jb by public transport, city square for leisure shopping. had movie "last of bladesman" show was pretty good and interesting! Had lunch at Billy Bombers in City Square and it was relatively cheap compared to SG.Had dinner at abalone noodle at 大马巴刹 nice 鲍鱼面 with strong JB feelings.then we went over to the market for tsk char. another nice continous meal. fried crayfish of 2 different flavours, the butter and cereal flavours, claypot chicken rice, claypot deer meat, fried cereal prawns, omelette, and the big glasses of sugarcanes. Overall had fun and we went home around 12am by their 霸王车 from JB right to our individual house just $15 SGD per pax! 21 May another Saturday, drove in to this area The Zon.
Had fun with a bit of beer and went to abalone for supper before returning home.

26 march 2011 Saturday. It was victor's 21st. Omg it was held at hardrock hotel presidential suite. The cost of it was a .... we had our dinner at din tai fong's baits intially. Was really full because i ate at home before i left for there therefore didnt really enjoy the meals there. hmm...a shot with weijun using my canon d500. omg we look like couple, aint we? i placed my cam on the table hence the angle focus was on our hands. artistic right?Coincidently that night was also 2011 Earth hour. Ard 830pm the restaraunt dimmed the night and litted candles on the customer's tables. And we made use of this and sang birthday song for Victor. ok here comes the main course.

we stepped into the presidential suite, the first minute the first place wasnt the bedroom, kitchen or toilet, i ran to the balcony to check it out. a stunning view from the balcony. i immediately capture all the nice images, and just nice there were daily fireworks show from the universal studio at that time. the suite comes with a kitchen, 2 equally big bedrooms(1 for his relatives 1 for his friends;us, with really spacious toilet(3parts in it, 1 bathtub, 1 shower, 1 toiletbowl each with glass doors, television in it), 3 balcony.one of the bedroom, nice bed, furnishing etc...this shot consist his cousins, family and us.

played ''in between", omg most of us lost, and victor's siblings won it all. There was a round where the money was up to $300plus and victor's sister won it all in less than half an hour. Most of us (friends of victor) lost heavily. i lost $30plus i think it was still ok compared to the others contributing. hahaha anyway, it was fun. and most of us went home ard 6 in the morning. Happy 21st victor yeoh.

Monday afternoon together with one of my good friend Weijun(lives same estate) at our playground chatting.
happen to bump into my neighbour boy who used to play soccer tgt at our neighbourhood park years back. A normal 10years old kid, who is now a grown up guy in JC year 2.

I look around. Those student who passby our playground going home from my secondary school. I dont regconise anyone. I still get to see some of my once-before juniors wearing the sec school uniforms when i was still in poly year 1 or 2. By now, even the upper sec student were strangers to me.

Actually i thought of all these way back when i was in my Poly days. I just want rant it out here, in words.
Friends (female) who went to JC after secondary school, YEAR 3 in UNI.
Me? Seconday 4years then Poly and now serving year 1 of NS.
Friends (male) who went to JC after sec, COMPLETED NS, YEAR 1 in UNI.
I am considered the normal pace. Yet i still think, i should have study harder in 'O's and got into a JC.
ok got to admit there are some others who study 5years in secondary, poly and now NS. And i seen even powerful people, 5 years secondary, ITE 2years then Poly 3years then NS who is 1988 or 1989.
Everyone started the same, but as time goes by, everyone start to go to their own path. Slowly this differentiate one another.
Like the title of this post, getting old. Time waits no men. Afterall, i got my plans long ago. So im still ok.

who loves army infantry life?

28km road march right before our parade in specialist cadet school.
Over at kranji war memorial. We had a parade at the memorial to pay tribute to those who fought and died during the japanese occupation, that place were the first area where the Japs invaded us during WW2.
After the parade, everything on, our 28km journey started ard 7pm. The black line which i drawn was the route we walked. Holy shit, the first half was still tolerable as it was along kranji damp, sungei kadut industrial areas where we walk on normal civilian roads.
The mixture feeling of anger, impatience, exhaustion all came when we enter the forest. (green part of the map) roads were uneven, even with our boots on, long hours of walking and heavy loads, i can feel my sole seriously painful. I asked my mates ard me, everyone experiencing the same thing. Everyone grumbling and scolding the oganisation. The ground of big cement-like rocks (not like those small stones we can see in our neighbourhood parks for elderly to do foot therapy)
As you can see, the 'last quarter' of the route was a thin man-made coastal path. Our last rest point was at the 'island' between the two tiny lines. I remembered i was tired enough, i did not refill my water even though i have finished my 4litres water on me.
Our end point was right at tuas checkpoint, while walking on the narrow coastal path, we could see the lampposts of malaysia 2nd link and lights from tuas checkpoint.

But the feeling was really shit, i am not exaggerating. I know my steps are not stopping, we have been walking hours and it seems like we couldnt reach our end point. 3am 4am and it seems like we are stationary and the endpoint is always away from us.

Finally the shit was over, time was near to 5am wednesday dawn when we reached tuas checkpoint. Buses brought us back to pasir laba camp and had our ceremony parade at 8am, had lunch and got our posting.

Thank god, i am posted to somewhere which many envy. Airforce as a air crew specialist. Near to 1200 sergeants, about 50 out of 1200 was posted to airforce, and among them only 6 were aircrew specialist. 2mths of BMT enhanced batch in tekong was hell everyday, then much slacker in scs for 2months.
No more camou on face for days, digging holes in forest, lying on the muddy shit soil whereby you shine ur torchlight and you see insects crawling around, rainy days in forest making whole body shivering, charging into thick vegetation with insufficient rest, midnight 2 3 4 5 6am not sleeping but to prone in total darkness guarding trees. Days without bathing, great smell and mud all over you. Too many shits to list out.

4months served, 1 year 6months more. Goodbye army infantry life, im out.

we had our mini bmt gathering. Late 10pm buffet is pretty cheap. $23 a person can enjoy the unlimited food. We miss them, willis, waiseng, yijie. Wish they were with us in SCS. anw all the best for our posting next week. Will meet anytime we book out from our respective camps.Funny fun cute yijie. Been very busy because of my current life. Didnt have time to really blog about everything. Hmm.. life has been tied to the nation now.

Food was pretty okayy but wasnt any special to make me go back.And went to clarkquay to meet mitcher, inez, cweiliang, peixian for new year countdown. And to beer market, went home near dawn.what: 2011 Cny 初二
raymon, victor, celestine, jinghan, peili, shaun, weiliang, junhao and myself. Started playing cards and etc ard 11pm till 3am at my house. Then back home.

Time just fly like this, fast like a fighter plane.

Enhanced leadership batch, thats why it only consist of 2months in Pulau tekong.

Started from strangers, in the end really met some people that i can see who can be true friends for life. Of course when there are good people, there will always be bastards around.

2months of shit and fun moments together, low like hell, high like heaven.

Especially during week5 in the forest, 5days 4nights in the forest. 4days rainned heavily. We were in shits, slept in mud, hard rocks. Slept 5hours at most each day. Words are unable to describe each and every details we went through. Most of us cried on the 3rd day. We suffered bad treatments.

But we are out of those shits, we became stronger.

What doesnt kill u makes u stronger.Enlisted in 2010 november 9th (i remembered i blogged abt my previous post and i couldnt sleep that night before i got enlisted)

Pass out parade in 2011 january 8th. (i did not regret my days in bmt, i met good people in my life)

I was posted to sergeant cadet school and already inside now.
Some were unlucky, straight posted to units to become men.
Some decided their future and signed on (at least 5 years of their life) and entered officer cadet school either for army, airforce or navy.

Whichever, we miss each other, we are and will forever keep in contact even when we have our family. This type of friendship is special and priceless. The things we went through will always be in our mind for the rest of our life.

One of my good friends told me something which i totally put my both hands up to agree.

Something about life.
Sometimes when you see others, you envy what they have and you grumble to yourself. You work really hard for it and you wish to be like them, in fact you can easily produce 200% effort of what they did, but you still dont get what you really want.

You ask yourself why? Why cant you get. The answer is very simple, 这是命.
Because you never know, these people may be thinking they are envious of what you have and why cant they have what you have?

Past few days. I have been thinking alot.

Sometimes you know, you think that you have grown up.
But, a period later when you look back, you will think that previously actually you have not grown up.
It's like currently i know i know many things much more than many others, i feel that i am above them, i feel that i have come so much far. But i know it will be a fact that after my army life when i look back, the same thinking will apply and the 'current standard' is rubbish.

I cant type out properly now.

Many things is going in my mind.

There goes my youth. I have to say this, i wont deny i regretted some things back then but some things i have not regretted. I created it. It will be my memories, and those important peoples' in my life.

I am going to serve the nation for 22months now. 9th November 2010.

Shaun and I went in for late dinner. I remembered it was days close to Hari Raya. Massive Jam at checkpoints, even the roads to Pandan City! Yes it's a good place for Malays from Singapore and Malaysia to shop and dine over there.

Able to experience different lives from different countries. Remembered seeing two very young boys like age of 6 sellings firecrackers there. I felt really touched and i just bought 2 small 'pop pop' (banned in SG) and gave it to another stall. (Pictures below)Best yet cheapest Satay eaten in my life.Very nice waffles with special jams such as coffee.

Victor, Celestine, Shaun, Joven, Raymond, and me went out first. Sohjunhao and weiliang joined us in the end and we went Katong Old HK cafe. It's not the normal Hk Xinwang Cafe.Ham Egg Noodle. Sohjunhao say it is as good as cooking maggie mee at home. HAHAHA i agree. For the price, wrong order.Porridge that looks like creamy soup. Lol.Mango pudding and Dumpling noodle soup.Sweet and sour slice chicken is nice. But noodle is bland. Soup is overly salty.The food is bad, price is high, but i dont know why i just thought of this 24hours place whenever im near the East area.
Left the place around 530am. Haha overall Expensive supper meal again. Like i always say, I can cook better and cheaper, we pay for the Ambience.

Shaun, Raymond, Joven, Kaixin and me were there to pre celebrate for JingHan's 20th birthday.

Had steamboat at Bugis (Long queue) initially. Nice food indeed recommended by Raymond Hehe.After the sumptuous steamboat hahaha, went to Se7en. Wow nice place actually but have to spend a minimum to have this sofa seats with curtains. Opened Martell and the service there were really tip top. Non stop at least 2 staffs will stand by preparing to add ice, mixer or liqour into your glass. Initiate to join us in our dice games and all. But trying to push us for more bottles. (dislike) Lol so i kept trying to tell them dont have to be so courteous. They are showing it is a high class place i think.

Made Jinghan drank alot and headed to Thomsom prata for our final stop.Sent Jinghan home as he couldnt tahan anymore. LOL. Heard that he reached his house and called San-sao (his gf) on the phone and half vomitting alone. Hahaha.

Hot torture. We SWORE WE WONT GO BACK ANYMORE. I vomitted alittle liquid out in the end. 6 of us Shaun, Sohjunhao, Weiliang, Jinghan, Weeteck. Shaun cant eat spicy stuffs so i sacrificed and ate 2 lvl 30 wings.

Words cant explain the spicyness. It dont taste like chilli anymore. Spicy till a overburnt taste. Mouth are swollen and tongue hurt once water is not being gulped into mouth.

First time there wanted to experience it. Very ulu place but really a peaceful place for chilling. But it will waste petrol reaching that place.
We ordered pork chop, halfspring roasted chicken and pork ribs, Lvl 5 and Lvl 30 buffalo wings.
The total bill was like near $200. Lol great experience though. In the end we are awarded the Certificates of Lvl 30 and our names are in the Hall of fame for the month of August!

16 July 2010 Friday. Mr Tan look better than i expect in extremly short hair! He had his first book-out on Thur. We went barrage to fly our kites as usual. Sadly one of my kite's stick broke. TanJunHao has his own big kite but we are lazy to go back to take it. So we were left with this big white ghost which i bought at EastCoastPark months ago.

And went to tanjong katong to try a ice-cream cafe called "Little ice-cream kafe a.k.a Lick" Promotion timing from 6-8pm $12.90 for 1 adult price. And it was ice-cream buffet style. We gotta admit the price is cheap. But the quality was Below our $12.90 expectation. Will not visit again. It was Friday night with the promotion on but we were analyzing the shop. Our analysis was... Furnishing is beautiful though that's why we tried. Waffles was ok, their brand crepes were er i can make nicer ones. Ice-cream alittle below standard. However, staffs were nice. So i wont dislike this shop. After this buffet, we went to katong for laksa as dinner. Then home. And met Shaun n Jinghan for shesha at Bugis and supper at Woodlands.

Wednesday night after i finished my gym at ngee ann, Ian, Mitcher and I walked back to kismiss as usual. I might have dropped my wallet on the way back to kismiss.
Mitcher ran back to the gym for me finding real hard, credits to him.
I searched the path we walked at kismiss.
Security guards from kismiss saw me and returned to me.

It was a kind girl who picked up and returned to the the guard house. I immediately called and thanked her as she left her name and number at the guard house. Really grateful to her. Kind hearted.

The damn thing was, $100+ cash was already gone. But we felt really relieved because all my cards, driving license, IC, cost of wallet and all that are still untouched. I suspect someone before the girl, found and took the cash and threw it back again. But really really relieved everything is still around except $100+ cash. Grateful to the girl again!

My buddy LimWeiLiang finished his OCS course and is one respected officer now.

Wei Liang's mum and sister, shaun and I attended the ceremony and i have strong feeling of it.
So smart. So upright.

Their marching standard is damn straight and good. Not like any normal soldier's standard.

Not easy to achieve this day, never easy to wear that uniform.

Now in camp, those people have to salute to him whenever he walks around.

Can book out at afternoons any day he wants and have KFC or even go home.

Take the lift, no staircase at all in camp, go canteen and eat whatever he wants.

Shaun accompanied me to the ITshow at suntec on the Saturday night.
I bought a netbook for my father because he said he wants one therefore i think i should get it for him. There was a girl from Sony booth initially serving me and she persuaded me to buy one of the models saying Father's Day is coming. Her words made me even sure to get one. But in the end i bought Toshiba because Sony is alittle... too expensive to me.Went home and came out with Shaun again to this dhobby ghaut area at 2am. Nice place to chat and relax with good friends. The food is nice but alittle overpriced i think. This place telecast the World Cup too. I am sure we will visit this place for one of the matches very soon Again.

Met tanjunhao 6am at lower seletar reservoir to play with our cameras(as usual). Too bad the sky wasn't nice enough for us to shoot beautiful pictures.
Went to have roti prata at thomsom around 8am. And then to tree-hill-top. Fruitful but tiring hike for us as it was a last minute suggestion by him. (look at what we are wearing)

it's been 3 years in NanYang Polytechnic

i still remember the days when i first took mrt to school from boonlay interchange till yiochukang interchange. and i joined dragonboat as my cca and i reached home at 12am and wakes up at 6am because i have to reach school the next day at 8am.
i was alittle too playful and took one of the modules too lightly in year 2 and i failed and was seperated from my classmates for some of the lessons.
there are days i had night class till 930pm and i have to hurry to BBDC to rush finish my practical driving lessons. but it was a good solo time experienced.
there are many other incidents which happenned in my 18-20th years of life.

it's all over

#1 lesson learnt in poly life
some people behave as if ur good friends but they are stabbing right behind your back. you wont believe how scary they are.

sat in his car and went to punggol beach and his brother came along.
reached punggol beach at 640am. tjh checked that the sun will rise at 710am.

i have finally bought my DSLR. canon EOS 500D.
love it.. superb.
now i understand... the difference between digital cam and DSLR.
they always say, when u use canon dslr. u will not use any other digital camera anymore.

these are the first few photos i took. (i have reduced the picture size because i have problem uploading the original size) result of DSLR is even better than wat our eyes can see in actual real life.
these are shots taken around 3am actual scene was very dark at that moment. (look at the details of cloud, rooftop, ground)

2am total darkness yet the this camera can capture everything. can even see the clouds which we couldn't in actual fact.
although my heart is still aching over the cost of this camera, i must say i love it very much!

i serve sugarcane and green tea to this couple(abt 21years old) eating char kway teow and hokkien mee.

this pretty girl asked "how much?"

so the girl look at this handsome guy. (hopefully is/will not be her bf)

this is the most powerful chalet.. because we are the planners for weiliang's 21st birthday.
one of my buddies group of course we must plan for him.
chalet was from 29th-31st Jan 2010 fri - sun. our group stayed from 1st to 2nd night.. and weiliang's poly and army friends accompanied from 2nd till the 3rd day.

shaun brought two big sub-woofers, i brought laptop. went over to pump it up...
weiliang's 'girlfriend' is cute... hahaha.5 of us as buddies spent the 1st night together. everyone are invited on the 2nd night.

this is a 3-room flat at westcoast that my dad owned as his stalls are beside the hdb. he rent a room out, and he used it for resting for his convenience.

i went to have lunch at his stalls and workers said he is not around. so i went to this hdb to find him.

when he wanted to open the door, i mention about the topic of car and he stop opening.
he went back to sit at the sofa and watch his fucking stocks.

i am very pissed off when i stood at the door talking like a shit and he just lectured me for 30mins.

was at kje pie reaching my hse

from far behind i saw a traffic police car coming. so i faster signal to middle lane (was at lane 1)
then a car behind me also signal left to middle lane.

that car and mine was around 120km.

i let go accelerator and brake alittle. so became around 90km.

too bad, the traffic police still stopped me.

few mths ago i was stopped by 3 traffic police bikes and they gave me a chance (when my license was still paper, not card. i drove 110km on lane 1, stop me at the road shoulder and gave me a chance maybe he saw my license still in a paper form.)

i was thinking "tio liao...this time confirm jialat confirm not so lucky"

both came out of car, asked for my license n IC.
he went to his car and took out a device and keyed in my license number.

so i asked him whether am i fined or demerited.
he said "mm no just warning u this time"

so he explained everything.
"just now from KJE, u should stay on the left, and not stay on the right lane 1
your speed is so fast and ur car maximum only 70. unless bo bian u overtake go lane 1, den u must go back to middle."
of course i try to look guilty and reply "oh. ok. sorry sorry."

he really explained so clearly like as if i was still learning the theory lesson of driving.
he returned me the card and ask me to go.

by the way, he is really handsome.

and the funny thing is, after that, he followed me till near my house and he turned into shengshiong coffeeshop most probably for dinner.

records now: 2 times stopped by traffic police, all 5 road blocks ask me to get out of the car.

let me share a story of this realistic ge yan incident...

where you live, wat car u drive, wat brand of wallet, bag you carry, how rich you are
all above are maybe mostly 90% how outsiders rate you

nov 17 late midnight went for supper with s, jh at bukit timah (though we have sch/attachment later)
after the late supper, drove back to jurong west, a estate near jh's place for a short smoke n chat (about 15mins)
time was about 250am

5mins later, 4 policemen came down from a multi storey carpark (walking, not driving)
abit weird as they didnt drive, they walk pass us, 2mins later, 2 of them walk back and check our IC. ask us come from where, we said bukit timah supper, AL Azhar eat Prata, the police trying not to laugh. (because abit irrelevant? we are fun)
glance our name and address asked us where we live, blk wat.
so S trying to li siao "er...no blk... er.. unit xx westwood"
jh said blk xxx, and i said westwood
they glance the IC less than 3seconds and became 'relax'
so we joke with them...(that malay policeman was very 'relax' n 'ge yan')
i asked "where ur car?"
he replied "car spoil" (obviously corking)
so we laughed and said "huh spoil, want long-bang anot?"
he said "nevermind la dont need" (actually they are pityful doing such job, patroling multi-storey carpark by foot, and his face was sweating)
we say westwood, they see westwood, they became relax and nice.

4 of them left the estate (walking).
10mins later 2 of them drove and came back(dont know from where).

they checked on us again, we laughed and they laughed.
(can see that they doing for show maybe to the headquaters)
so i asked "eh u say car spoil?"
malay police A said "repair already... i also technician (dam funny)"
malay police B standing behind him give us funny joker face (even more ge yan)

this time more serious, ask us to show IC again, and as usual wrote down our IC.

funny part was, i went closer to take a look.
that joker policeman wrote our particulars on a leaflet (those that hdb letter box always have)
did the usual procedure of calling back headquater for reference of our IC.

he ask for our keys to check(for show only, if really wan check bring back laboratory already, how to check using eyes like that?) he said there are reports of ppl using keys vandalising the cars in the carpark.
so we "oh... laugh and said, we not so lame do this type of things waste time, we rather go eat supper and chat"

this is the part when my mind started to think the cruel sad things.
as he checked our IC, he said " westwood (s and me) why come here, very fishy, dont come here, here alot cases and troubles" (was thinking westwood cannot come hdb estate?)
we replied "friend(jh) live here ma"

he checked with headquaters and he said headquarters ask them to take photo of us
this is funny (can see that he dont want to take but it's for show for the headquarters)
he took out a hp and took picture of us 1 by 1, and we gave funny faces (really can see that he is doing for show, they laugh and laugh and walked off)

i believe the above situation would be something very different, not so 'relax' style, unable to joke with them, more fierce as a police officer, suspecting us, have the mindset of us being the culprits
if
we are using motorbikes as vehicles or even no transport
our IC stated are HDB blk xxx #xx-xx
worse still, wat sch? no sch or ITE?

see...... life is like this.
police road blocks or normal check up like this
the tone of them....changed when they see your IC with some private address........

they see our IC, westwood, their mindset will think that we good citizen
sorry to check on us, 'scared' to cause misunderstanding/troubles
so many cases of such things, always the same
i have more real life stories to prove

not trying to be hao lian or looking down on others
but this is a fact on such little extra 'advantages' in life

was hungry on saturday late night at home, went to Mr.Prata located at evan lodge with buddies jh and wl. it's a nice place to go late at night as it is opened 24/7.

went around 1+am on saturday's midnight, i think it will be very crowded if we went earlier.

at this timing, the atmosphere there is much different than al ameen though it's also opened 24/7. the crowds there are different, more 'matured adult-likes' angmohs, and comfortable place.

variety of prata there is unique. Eg just like the salad prata i ordered, similar to chinese popiah- uses prata to act like the skin wrapping mayonise, tomatoes, lettuce, beansprout. and that plate of dish that looks like fried rice, is actually called chip-chop - uses prata(chopped into small pieces) stir-fried with chicken, egg, onion, green peppers and so on...

the best dish i choose over there...

price there is just abit more exp than normal prata shops.

it's worth the while going, eating beside raintrees, a place to bring ur love ones or real-close friends for a nice chit chat session.

went to ngee ann poly in the evening to jog with tjh.

and went to ikea after jogging.

i always love ikea, their designs of furnitures and food.

ate all these, meatballs with potatoes, nasi lemak(dont really like) for me, dessert, and tjh ate pasta, the favourites for me is the dessert, forgot its name something ___roll $1 each, and the fried chicken wings! damn nice always as nice.

two of us ate till full and had a nice chat and went home. i love tjh:)

as usual went to work today

1030am realised i didnt bring my handphone, lady boss need me to deliver (walk) a webcam to another building, but i drove instead because after that i drove home to rest 10mins and take my hp. so happy to slack at home. came back and i know lady boss is so nice, i told her and she still laugh and say bout me.

btw lady boss said the next batch of interns will be replacing us on nov 23, 3 guys also from nyp.
we will end work on nov 21. but of course have to pay back 2days which i owed so far.

lady boss said we will still receive our 3full months pay. which is a good thing as we will be yet getting the full 3 months pay yet working about 1week lesser (started work on aug 30) HAPPY abit tan tio...

around 1pm my turn to buy lunch, i suggested to buy lunch back from outside NTU, as we're abit sick of the food at canteen A,B or mac. drove outside of ntu, blk 900+ coffeeshop to da bao. the funny thing is, lady boss said"Nic 你陪hanwei去，不然他不会回来" and nic accompanied me. HAPPY because can slack/waste/drag time. oh btw lady boss eat char kway teow must add alot sweet black soya sauce.

around 3pm, lady boss need to deliver 3 desktops to civil and environment engineering building, i drove and deliver for her. she wanted to give me $15. but i insist $10. so she gave me $10, just a 20mins job. she tan tio happy i also tan tio HAPPY.

just now went to jk's 21st bday with weijun
after that met shaun ard 12am at our house park.
were deciding where to go for supper and chit chat
no place to go...

this min deciding where to go, next min decided to go malaysia.went home and take out passport, 5mins time reach back outside shaun's house.and so, we went.

one of the houses near johor. experience their life. we rounded around cause we were unfamiliar, saw some of their night life. clubs were fierce and looks exciting, didnt see any youngsters, all are adults.

found this seafood restaraunt that looks good, we tried. quality of food is amazingly quite nice, and prices are cheap!

look at all these wonderful food we ordered. 3 of us, total only SGD$13 for each person.

this is the main focus! satay is made of chicken and sotong. SGD50cents each. very special, different from the ones we eat in singapore. the meat is flat like chicken chop with bone inside.
chat till bout 3+am. decided to go back.

chiong back to custom. before chiong of cause must add petrol.

Holy so cheap, petrol there is cheaper than i add diesel in singaore. the price there is only SGD 80cents per litre, for the same petrol it's SGD $1.80 over here in singapore.

just nice left some money and i wanted to spend finish them.

grab those chewing gums (u can see a hole there after i grabbed)

spend finished all, the uncle was laughing scanning 1 by 1 of the chewing gum.

8ve oct balestier bakuteh

thursday night, went to balestier the most famous bakuteh with tjh.

was a memorable one, queued up outside the shop for 30mins as the shop is quite small and packed.

parking for us was a headache

the wall of the shop are pasted with photos of idols and singers from around the world taken with the boss. very nice, but price is very expensive. was quite shocking to see the bill.

2 bowl of 2 rib bakuteh (free refill of soup)

total was $31.50. very expensive.

this is the brand of the shoe which i've been looking for.

cost $100+ a well known brand like birkenstock.

finally found it in one of the shop in novena square. im buying soon. love the design very much, and it's good for the feet.

today is a interesting day at work...

rich boss and lady boss lives at upper bukit timah area, freehold house with swimming pool.

will cut short story.

in the morning, chat with boss awhile about cars. no much customers so i was viewing website about peugeout 207cc cost $107k(recently have the urge to buy this, though i dont have the capability) chat about cars and his recommendation.

he told me, he wont buy car if he's me. he will take bus. (he stared at my kangoo parked outside his shop. i was very embarrassed) he will take the money and do another thing. reasons i will not upload and share.

he simply said, if you want to buy a car, u have to know how to earn money. a normal 50k car will do.

he drives a BMW750 cost 380k.

i asked him why drive a so expensive car? then u should buy a normal 50k car.

he said it's for business, if i drive a truck here everyday, my suppliers see me will not dare to have lias with me. i have family so i think is reasonable. it's all about status. sounds true.

he drove me to another part of NTU to deliver some things to other departments using his car with car plate number S_ _6666_

parked at the carpark. i think about 50 NTU students were walking. everyone walked with their bodies going to their direction but their heads towards our direction looking at us when we got out of the cars.

afternoon, i was still browsing websites on cars.... lady boss saw and she ask me which car i was looking. i said peugeout 207 cc.

she shocked and asked why? why see peugeout so lousy... i said, convertible, can open, eg park outside bukit timah shop house for supper, everyone will look at you.

she answered and exclaimed with a sentence which only VERY RICH PEOPLE WILL ANSWER.

"who want to see peugeout?!"

i was stunned.

i asked her to recommend me which car i should drive.

she clicked the websites.............. and she recommended me..... FERRARI F430.

oh my goodness......... 800k-1million car. she ask me to drive it.

if only lady boss is my god-mother.

i asked her if next time she will buy car for her 2 kids if they ask for. (pri 2 and pri5 cute boys. next time take photo with them post it up)

lady boss: i drive porsche boxsters(cost 280k) before this maserati. sometimes i drive half a year and i change car. they want to drive just drive our cars, our shelter(her house garage/garden) can hold up to 3 cars only, sometimes no space to keep those rare cars jin xim tia(very heart pain) let rain wash.

then we chat about what type of girl, which type of girl is good for me, if good now, for future family(wont talk about the contents, it's tips by her of getting good wife and have a rich family like them). then chat about my kangoo jokes....funny till whole shop filled with laughters. lady boss even laugh till squat down hide behind cashier counters. said to another cashier "wa this hanwei very funny talk till laugh till cannot tahan" IN HOKKIEN. very nice-being boss and lady boss to me.

labrador seafood 10th sep 09

went to labrador seafood with tjh yesterday.

no much people know about this untill i realised this place few days ago. food was quite nice but not really special. price is far expensive, not worth it. wont go again i think. but atmosphere was nice and soothing, great place to maybe have a chit chat beverage session. backyard is a lit with retro real lamps.

it's located around labrador park, a small left turn after 5mins drive from vivo city. but no public transport to that place as it is really really remote, no much people will know this place.

think this place cater to tourists as there's a resort beside it, and saw china tourists came and pay using RMB. interesting right? LOL this shop actually accept RMB. after the meal went to the seaside and took a breeze quite fun!

By the way, i am amazed by tjh's neighbour. this house is very much smaller than tjhs'. But, this family have powerful cars. consists of 4 cars.

1st: ferarri
2nd: GTR

3rd: BMW
4th: Mercs

total worth 1.8million for these 4 cars.

2days ago went to imm after my piano exam with tjh.

going home was queueing out at the carpark to go to the main road.

tjh drive camry, i drive kangoo.

my hp dropped on the floor, bent down to find my handphone.

i neutral gear, nv pull handbrake nv step on brake cause whole body go down find handphone.

around 3 sec... "BANG" once i hear the sound i slam brake

jumped up and see... in that 1 sec my heart dropped out.

i quickly reverse alittle.

many cars behind me, got security guard standing there saw everything.

but LOL

tjh didn't do anything, yet turned head and laugh... i laughed...

omg, can u believe? singaporean if car got banged, won't come down?

tjh sms me saying "LOL nvm small problem"

we didn't come out. reached home and msn.

tjh still joked bout we should come down and check purposely create traffic jam for others.

and said think the guard expected us to come down and check it out.

tjh looked at rear mirror and couldn't see me and saw me slowly rolling forward.

if it's other people tjh will pull handbrake and purposely wait, come down and talk talk and check.

gr8 practical piano exam was quite screwed up and very high chance of failing but i have to say

the examiner was very very friendly and fun, humourous, because quite some things happenned and i dont wish to say out. he's very cheerful, trying to entertain me and calm me down, trying not to fail me but i just couldn't....
overall, i think he love me alot but i just couldn't do it for him...i love him.

because i dont have the mood to play anymore right at this moment
because i somehow know i will fail tmr again.

grade 1-5 u can pass easily because u cant do anything with the certs you have.
grade 6 onwards, examiner knows....

ABRSM. world profession from Europe to come and test me.

all i can say, it is never easier than one can imagine for grade 8 practical cert.
